OneComm Athletics ("we", "us", or "our") operates the OneComm Athletics mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and phone number provided during registration via Clerk authentication.
  • Organization Data: Information about sports organizations, seasons, teams, and rosters that you create or are invited to.
  • User Content: Messages, documents, photos, and other content you share through the App's communication features.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and push notification tokens for delivering notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the App
  • To facilitate communication between organization members (coaches, parents, players, administrators)
  • To send push notifications about messages and updates
  • To manage organization rosters, schedules, and directories
  • To improve and personalize your experience
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Within Organizations: Your name, role, and contact information are visible to other members of organizations you join.
  • Service Providers: We use third-party services (Convex for data storage, Clerk for authentication, Expo for push notifications) that process data on our behalf.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

4. Children's Privacy

Our App is designed for use by youth sports organizations, which may include children under 13. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parent or guardian accounts manage access for minor players. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 without proper consent, please contact us immediately.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Organization data is retained as long as the organization remains active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Opt out of push notifications via device settings

8. Third-Party Services

Our App uses the following third-party services:

  • Clerk — Authentication and user management
  • Convex — Backend data storage and real-time sync
  • Expo — Push notification delivery

Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the App and updating the effective date above.
